ISRO Salary Structure
Candidates selected through ISRO recruitment will be appointed in Level 4 of the Pay Matrix with a starting basic pay of Rs 25,500 per month. In addition to the basic salary, employees will receive allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA) as per Central Government rules.
They will also be entitled to benefits including medical facilities, subsidised canteen, limited staff quarters (where available), Leave Travel Concession (LTC), Group Insurance, House Building Advance, and other admissible government benefits, making the overall salary package attractive.

Candidates must satisfy the educational qualification and age requirements prescribed in the notification.

Assistant / Upper Division Clerk (Post No. 1 & 5)
- Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10 from a recognized university.

Junior Personal Assistant / Stenographer (Post No. 2, 4 & 6)
- Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10, or
- Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10.
- English stenography speed of 60 words per minute.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- One year of relevant work experience.

Fee Refund Policy
For General/OBC/EWS candidates, ₹400 of the ₹500 fee is refunded after appearing in the written test. For SC/ST/PH/Female candidates, the entire ₹500 fee is refunded after the written test.

There are 242 vacancies in total. The posts are split into 150 Assistant/UDC posts and 92 Junior Personal Assistant/Stenographer posts, to be filled through a written exam, skill test and document verification.
The fee is ₹500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, of which ₹400 is refunded after appearing in the written test. For SC/ST/PH/Female candidates the fee is ₹500, fully refunded after the written test.
Candidates must be between 18 and 28 years old as on 16 August 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per ISRO regulations.
Assistant/UDC candidates need a graduation degree with at least 60% marks (or CGPA 6.32) and computer proficiency. Junior Personal Assistant/Stenographer candidates need a graduation or diploma with 60% marks, one year of stenography experience and a typing speed of 60 w.p.m.
Selection is carried out in three stages: a written examination, followed by a skill test, and finally document verification. Meeting the eligibility criteria alone does not guarantee selection.
