How to Download UPSSSC Assistant Statistical Officer Admit Card?

  1. Visit the official UPSSSC website.
  2. Go to the Candidate Login or Important Announcements section on the homepage.
  3. Click on the Assistant Statistical Officer (ASO) Admit Card 2026 link.
  4. Enter your Registration Number, Date of Birth or Password, and the security code.
  5. Click on the Login/Submit button and your admit card will appear on the screen.
  6. Download the admit card and take a printout to carry to the examination hall.

Exam Day Instructions

  • The exam must be taken only at the allotted exam centre; no change of centre, date or time is permitted in any case.

Exam Pattern and Negative Marking

The Mains written exam has a single paper of 100 objective multiple-choice questions carrying 100 marks, to be solved in two hours. One-fourth mark is deducted for every wrong answer. Part-1 covers subject knowledge including Statistics, Data Collection and Presentation, Central Tendency and Dispersion, Index Numbers, Correlation and Regression, Mathematics, Probability, Statistical Measures of Indian Economy and the Indian Statistical System (65 marks). Part-2 covers Computer and Information Technology (15 marks) and Part-3 covers general information about Uttar Pradesh (20 marks).

Shortlisting for Mains Exam

Candidates were shortlisted for the written exam on the basis of their normalized PET 2025 score, category-wise up to 15 times the advertised posts, including all candidates holding the normalized score up to the final cut-off marks. Shortlisted candidates had to pay the mains exam fee separately before downloading the admit card.
