Educational Qualification
For the Medical Assistant Trade, candidates must have passed 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English. Candidates who completed the specified two-year vocational course with these non-vocational subjects and the same minimum marks are also eligible.
For Medical Assistant Trade with Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy, candidates need 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English. They must also hold a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% aggregate marks and valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India.

Medical Standard and Physical Fitness Test
Candidates up to 21 years must complete the 1.6 km run within 7 minutes. Candidates above 21 years holding Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy must complete it within 7 minutes 30 seconds. Minimum height is 152.5 cm. Candidates must meet the stated chest expansion, hearing, weight, dental and visual standards.
