Mode of Selection

The official notification does not mention the number of vacancies.
The fee for General candidates is ₹ 1150, for OBC/EWS ₹ 600 and for SC/ST/PH ₹ 325.
For JRF the maximum age is 30 years; there is no age limit for the NET category.
Candidates must hold an M.Sc. or equivalent with at least 55 % marks (50 % for SC/ST), or a B.E./B.Tech, B.Pharma, MBBS or any integrated degree.
