Educational Qualification
For UTET‑I (Primary), candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks and hold a 2‑year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./BTC) or a 4‑year B.El.Ed., or an equivalent qualification recognised by NCTE. For UTET‑II (Elementary), a Bachelor’s degree with D.El.Ed./BTC, B.Ed., or any NCTE‑approved teacher‑education qualification is required. In‑service teachers are also eligible as per the notification.
