Educational Qualification
The Principal post needs a Master’s Degree, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and 10 years of teaching experience as PGT or TGT. The Vice-Principal post needs a Master’s Degree, a B.Ed and either 2 years of experience as PGT or 3 years as TGT.
The age limit differs by post, counted as on 14 August 2026. Principal candidates must be 35 to 50 years (up to 53 for OBC, 55 for SC/ST). Vice-Principal candidates must be 35 to 40 years (up to 38 for OBC, 40 for SC/ST). The upper age limit is further relaxable up to 10 years for PwBD candidates.
